Surprisingly, we have cracked 42 million page views in two months, and that’s with “AI” bot blocks. We’re also blocking bot activity from Semrush (there is a lot of attempted entry), and letting through Ahrefs in a controlled way (a page a day, I believe).
I’ve detailed the maths elsewhere: the original site netted at least 27,647,011 views before the reinstalled one appeared on our current server. Unfortunately, the friend I had helping me was unable to import the old stats and the counter was reset.
Page views were actually higher than 27,647,011 but that was the last figure I recorded, a day before the switchover. Add the 14,356,310 that the counter now shows, and we get 42,003,321.
The latest entry (the 5,329th model) is the Saab Sonett III, which my friend Keith Adams (AROnline, Parker’s) wrote many years ago. However, he entered it as part of a broader Saab Sonett II entry. I’ve divided them into two but preserved Keith’s words, while adding a few tiny things.

Here’s how the traffic has developed—the sort of anorak info that used to appear on my blog.
