We’ve reached 5,400 model entries on Autocade, and the car that got us there is particularly special, launched just this week.
The Ferrari 849 Testarossa Spider wasn’t what we thought we’d be adding, but for a friend of mine placing an order and showing me what he was planning to get. (He already owns a 512 TR.) At last we have something more memorable marking this milestone: the prancing horse’s flagship, with three electric motors and a twin-turbo V8, and a combined total output of 1,050 PS. It’s also a plug-in hybrid, a small concession to the times we live in.
The website has had some days of record traffic, in particular for some very unexpected models (the KGM Actyon and the new Jeep Compass), so we expect to post about another million milestone within weeks. Other more niche entries include the two generations of Toyota Ipsum, all the Daihatsu Moves, and, for the real anoraks among us, the Deep Sanderson 301. We’ve also begun adding Leapmotor, beginning with its newly released B01.
