Two very different Asian ranges are now up on Autocade.

We believe everything from Geely (the core brand) is up, including its historical models. We were missing a few entries for the Englon SC5 derivatives: strangely, we hadn’t added the four-door saloon; the badge-engineered Gleagle GC5, which did exist, and the Geely New Meiri, which hitherto had been mentioned in a shared entry with the King Kong Hatchback. As the New Meiri also included the booted SC5 shape, it really should be a separate entry, even if the model run under this name was brief (2014–16). Confused? We were, considering two basic shapes had five model names in seven years between 2010 and 2016. If you’ve counted just four above, you’re correct, as we chose to group the Geely Englon C5 with the New Meiri entry, since the cars were identical (even the same publicity photos were used, with the number plates retouched).
It did take about four hours to go through all the references to make sure we had covered all the Geelys, so we hope the completeness of the work is appreciated!
Less obscure is the Lexus ES, which we are now bang up to date with, from the original export version of the Toyota Camry Prominent hardtop to the new-generation model shown earlier this year. The six-generation V60 was also added this week, completing the nameplate’s entries on Autocade.
